Muddy brown body with okay foam. Smells of soft cardamom, some brown sugar. Taste is smooth floral biscuit, soft brown sugar. Ends very smooth and easy. Not bad, a lot of sweet and simple maltiness going on.

Has an okay murky clearish copper body and some modest foam. Aroma of nice chewy sweet pine, biscuit and brown sugar notes. Taste is very nice piney hops tempered by some deep molasses, slight biscuit. Ends crisp and full, nice oiliness. A textbook malt forward IPA but enjoyable.

Medium gold body with average foam. Smells of soft floral hops, could be some herbal additives in there. Taste is smooth floral notes, rosewater maybe, slight honeyed grain. Ends full, smooth. It's an adequate and sweet, floral kind of lager.

Bottle, from the brewery. Dark brown. Not much head on this one. I get toasty, nutty malts that have gone sour. Okay, the sour character is more of that vinous stuff, some brett maybe. On the palate, it's not as sour as I thought it would be - more of that sweet toffee malt, light fruitiness, and a rounded barrel finish with a bit of brett. The bugs and tartness don't really serve the beer, but of course they're totally expected putting a brown ale into a pinot barrel. The execution isn't bad, it basically comes across like you'd expect, it's just not an idea I'm nuts about. This is the sort of immature beer you'd want to include in a blended old ale, not stand on its own.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Hazy gold with white head and a tiny bit of sediment. Saison yeast, touch of brett, touch of barrel, quite underplayed complexity backgrounds everything.

500ml at Matt's amenity room. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: nice farmhouse character sort of similar to some of HF saisons, some barrel notes. Taste: kinda too much Brett character in this one, juicy, barrel character. Overall: smells nice, but taste was heavily affected by Brett that did not add much of the elegance.

Bottle, from the brewery. Hazy, a bit dull. Fairly thick head. Soft brett, vinous, pedio some interesting complexity, Soft body, brett C, not bad at all actually.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small medium white head. Aroma is full of rustic saison yeast and a little oak. Flavour is impressively complex, with lots of rustic saison yeast, some nice bitterness, and a little oaky vinous character. Finishes dry, vinous and oaky. This is surprisingly excellent.

Slight haze. Thin head. Medium bitterness and clean bready pale malts. Rustic, but tasty. I would say this was my favourite of the day.

Slightly pink. Hazy. Has a lot of bitterness, nice berry fruitiness. I find it a bit clashy. Earthy. More of a straight fruit beer than fruited saison, by character.
