A: clear amber, thin, off-white head.
A: red apple, fig, dried banana, red apple.
T: lots of sweet red apple, banana, biscuit.
F: herbal hops, red apple still, some apple peel.
P: medium body, slick-watery texture, average carbonation.
Enjoyable but the palate really drags it down.

A: clear dark brown to black, thinning, off-white head.
A: toast, fondant, mocha, dried fig, prune.
T: sweetish fig & prune, dark chocolate, toast, nuts.
F: earthy hops, toast, mocha.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Not bad, but they could have gone all the way here and just created a Stout instead.

A: tobacco, bonfire, bacon, brown bread.
T: sweetish fig, smoky tobacco, toast.
F: herbal hops, toast & tobacco.
P: medium body, slick-watery texture, average carbonation.
Lacks some body, but clean in smokiness, and a nice surprise out here in Sardinia.

Balanced.
