355ml can. Pours a slightly hazy gold-yellow with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy lacing. Faint aroma of grainy pale malt and lemon. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, lemon, yeast and grassy hops in a dry, mild bitter, tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. A bit odd for a lager. Could almost pass for a sour. Pretty crushable though.

650ml bottle shared with my wife. Pours a hazy pale gold-yellow with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy lacing. Sweet aroma of grainy pale malt and lemonade. Sweet flavour of grainy caramel malt, sugar and tart lemon in a dry finish. Light body with a sticky texture and lively carbonation. Refreshing and easy to drink. Would be good on a hot summer day.

355ml can. Pours a clear pale gold with a thin, fizzy, white head that fully dissipates. Mild aroma of grain. Sweet flavour of grain and bread with a hint of citrus in a dry, bitter grass finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and average carbonation. Disappointing.

355ml can. Pours a hazy copper with a medium, frothy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet, mild aroma of caramel malt, honey, nuts, bread and citrus. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, honey, hazelnut and citrus with a dry, hoppy, bitter grass finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. I’m told the ’Mh’ on the label means it’s a contract brew for the Maddhatters nightclub next door to the brewery. Ok, but the ’Bow Chika Wow Wow’ factor was missing.

355ml can. Pours a clear dark brown with reddish hue and a medium, short lived, beige head that laces. Mild, sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and a hint of coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate and light licorice with a bitter coffee finish. Light to medium body with a watery to oily texture and average carbonation. Meh.

355ml can. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a medium, short lived, fizzy, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of grain, lemon and light caramel. Sweet flavour of bready malt, caramel, lemon and a mild, bitter grass note in the finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. This was surprisingly good, as far as lagers go.

Sweet flavour of wheat malt, bread, orange, banana and light bubblegum with a crisp, bitter grass finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Not great.

355ml can. Pours a clear copper with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, orange, grapefruit, grain and tropical fruit with a dry, mildly bitter, hoppy finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Could use a little more punch in the mouth, but still a good session IPA.

Can. As is the rest of ’em. Which is great, cuz I can bring back tonnes and not just sit ever-so-forlornly in their tasting room trying them all. Much nicer to chillax here with a can and a proper glass and try it "au-naturel" to get the real feel, so to speak. Poured at 10c (yeah I left it out) it’s got great head and that almost black body but when you hold it up to light it will shine through a bit. The aroma is all barley without any hops or other thingies to really push it up - some carbonation perhaps but still it’s missing an attraction of complexity. I find it’s the same with the taste, the brew is giving me a few hints of chocolate and coffee but not making them sing. Like Pavarotti on a serious bender or something. Of course I’ll still drink all 12 I bought but probably won’t go back for 100 more. Promising new brewery though I gots ta tells ya. Will be roadtrippin’ down there next year for shure.
