(On tap) Hazy golden with a creamy, white head leaving some laces. Distinct wheaty esters in the nose, banana is sticking out. Medium body with some great banana flavours shining through. Quite fruity and fresh, the coriander is quite weak. Some sulphur in the finish and then the usual Apollo bittering hops to mess up the overall impression. Still nice though. 200406

An unclear greenish yellow beer with a nice white head. The aroma is sweet with a strange note of coriander mixing in with the wheat. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of coriander and lesser notes of wheat. The end is dry and wheaty. Quite nice.

Daftt at brewpub. Creamy white good fully lasting head. Yellow cloudy colour. Nice but week aroma. OK flavor, you can hardly detect the coriander. Syruply palate.

(On tap) Slightly hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Lightly fruity nose. Rather light-bodied - actually a bit watery. Lightly sweet caramel notes and wee hints of fruit - I’m not too sure how sloe really tastes like though. Very subdued bitterness. But quite drinkable overall. 170306

(On tap) Clear amber with a small, creamy off-white head. Aromatic hop aroma - Sterling - perhaps a tad perfumy. Fairly full-bodied with a rather high sweetness - and distinct caramel. Some bitterness from the standard Apollo bittering hops, but this time used with greater respect for the beer. Quite a nice - and surprisingly strong - lager. 170306

A copper colored beer with an OK beige head. The aroma is sweet yeasty and malty, combined with light notes of ginger. The flavor is sweet with a powerful body, and strong notes of yeast, as well as lighter notes of ginger and metal. It is unpleasantly strong - in this beer the strength pronounces the wrong notes.

Draught at brewpub. Creamy white good fully lasting head. Light amber (orange) colour. Powerfull fruity/yeasty aroma. Very bitter but still sweet flavor, fantastic balance. I really like this.

Draught at Sct. Clemens, Aarhus Cloudy orange amber, rich creamy head. Indistinct fruit aroma. Sweet with soft, creamy mouthfeel. There’s some crystalized sugar and a pleasant malt flavour - the problem is that is there is too little of it. The slow flavour is vague and there is near no bitterness.

A pitch black beer with a huge collapsing dark brown head. The aroma is sweet and roasted with strong notes of chocolate. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chocolate and roasted malt as well as lesser notes of coffee. The body is a little thin for a stout, but still OK. Unfortunately it is served quite cold, as the beer always is at Apollo, this one really gains from heating up. Without a doubt the best beer so far from Apollo.

An unclear dark orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is quite yeasty with some notes of sloe. While the flavor is strong on berry notes with a distinctive sloe character on an underlying sweetness, combined with slight hints of lemon. The end turns dry with a strong sloe presence. This beer is not traditional - but using sloe in fermentable drinks is traditional Danish - I love my dads sloe snaps.
