Cloudy pale amber colour, small foamy white head, recedes slowly, heavy lacing. Aroma malty, grain, orange, peach, candy sugar, grass, citrus. Taste medium bittersweet, citrus notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry medium bitter aftertaste, herbal notes. Overall a nice refreshing IPA.

Lahev: Deep golden with an orangey sheen, cloudy, floaties visible, big loose rocky white head; quite mild herbal-grainy nose with an Illusion of tea-leaves; dry - but not too dry - moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering dry bitter-sweet finish with a light tartness in the very end. Just O.K. ...

Draught at the brewpub in Amsterdam. Hazed yellow straw coloured pour the with a lasting white cap. Aroma is composed of grassy hop, vanilla ice cream and some toffee. Flavour is weird, toffee and maybe some duacetyl, orange and grassy hop. Palate is crisp, semi sweet and high carbonation. A bit too sweet for my taste and not hoppy enough.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Black Door, 20140906) The beer poured amber and mildly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Not a bad pale ale.

Bottle from the brewery store. Dark amber, hazy body, with a big, frothy, white head. Sweet aroma of citrus, orange, passion fruit, yeast, caramel, honey. Taste is alao pretty sweet, with orange, sweet fruits, grass, caramel, honey. Mouthfeel is medium, slick, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes medium bitter, fruity and grassy. Too sweet for my liking. Very juicy, almost sticky, from both sweet malts and sweet fruits, with some more grass notes. Overall not bad, but I’ve had much better Dutch IPAs.

Sampled @ Gents Bierfestival 2014. 330 ml. bottle. Hazy brownish orange, creamy white head. Nose is sticky sweet yeast, murky, toffee, sweet brown sugar, malty, cereal,… Tastes of caramel, cookie, flower, bubblegum, butterscotch, oily caramel, herbs, sweet grain, light pine,… Thicker murky malt beer. IPA? So-so murky brew.

Small white head over hazy orange-ochre beer. Grains, rainwater, bit of sweat, dried spices. Taste very consistent with the nose. Dry, dried herbs, grains and other grains. Feels quite carbonated, quite slick. Good, if rather average. Not one to make the detour for. I do not know what the "L." stands for, unless it is to undo the next three letters...
