About
Although the pub already existed for some years, brewing on site started in 2020. The first beer [Haghe Blond] was presented on July 16th, 2020.
They announced a collaboration with Eiber, to brew and distribute together, end of 2025. Unclear if they still brew on site.

Nick & Simon hebben geen ballen | [2015-10-31 15:31:07] - Locatie: Proeflokaal de Prael - Score: 3.75 - Comment: Lekker fruitig en stevig gehopt | [2019-07-30 21:40:54] - Locatie: Le Domaine du Pouldroit - Score: 3.4 - Comment: Sweet and dry grainy malts, with bitter hops and floral hopbells up front, then some tropical fruit and citrus peels. Grainy and bitter, rough yeastiness. Quite sweet and strong bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. A more hoppy (French) blonde beer. | [2020-08-01 22:12:44] - Locatie: Brouwerij De Prael - Score: 3.4 - Comment: Hoppig, harsig, bitter. Gebrouwen in Den Haag. | [2026-08-07 01:37:00] - Locatie: Carrer del Rossinyol - Score: 3.8 - Comment: Very fresh and crafty for a French IPA. The present and strong aromatic hops are herbal and piney rather than very fruity. Sage and spruce or something like that. Quite unusual. And the base is still quite worty. Light sweet, quite bitter. West coasty.

Lahev: Deep golden with an orangey sheen, cloudy, floaties visible, big loose rocky white head; quite mild herbal-grainy nose with an Illusion of tea-leaves; dry - but not too dry - moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering dry bitter-sweet finish with a light tartness in the very end. Just O.K. ...

Draught at the brewpub in Amsterdam. Hazed yellow straw coloured pour the with a lasting white cap. Aroma is composed of grassy hop, vanilla ice cream and some toffee. Flavour is weird, toffee and maybe some duacetyl, orange and grassy hop. Palate is crisp, semi sweet and high carbonation. A bit too sweet for my taste and not hoppy enough.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Black Door, 20140906) The beer poured amber and mildly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Not a bad pale ale.

Bottle from the brewery store. Dark amber, hazy body, with a big, frothy, white head. Sweet aroma of citrus, orange, passion fruit, yeast, caramel, honey. Taste is alao pretty sweet, with orange, sweet fruits, grass, caramel, honey. Mouthfeel is medium, slick, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes medium bitter, fruity and grassy. Too sweet for my liking. Very juicy, almost sticky, from both sweet malts and sweet fruits, with some more grass notes. Overall not bad, but I’ve had much better Dutch IPAs.
