Bottle @ Steve’s house, courtesy of lukaduke. Thanks! Dark orangish brown appearance with a light brown head. Toasty caramel malty, cracker, mild cracker, herbal, a bit resiny hoppy aroma. Toasty toffee, bitter, herbal, a touch woody, spicy hoppy flavor. Very tasty beer.

Tap at the Ginger Man, Manhattan - 29/05/12. Slightly hazy golden orange with a medium cream head. Citrus hops and pine dance out of the glass. Hops in the taste, pine, well balanced sweetish malt and caramel. Spot on ! Lighter end of medium bodied and matching carbonation, very smooth drinking, great consistency with a medium bitter finish. Excellent beer probably the best IPA I’ve tasted !

Bottle shared with Charlie at the Cabin, NH. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a large, white foam head. Big, ripe orange nose with some pine, honey, grass, apple and toasted pale malts. Medium sweet, rich flavor with loads of piney bitterness, citrus, orange, florals, some toasty breads. Medium to full bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Dries out lightly to finish, with lots of sticky and resinous pine, sticky grass, some cedar wood, hints of caramel and honey sugars, pale malts. Great balance. Superb.

50cl bottle pours an opaque black with some creamy beige head. Inviting aroma, malty, molasses, vanilla, cola, light milk chocolate. Flavor is sweet, cola, vanilla, molasses, crackers, bread, chocolate. Medium bodied, sweet, vanilla finish.

I worked with a young lady named Mo in Sierra Leone, I wonder if this beer was named after her? Bottle. Hazy golden yellow color, large white head with good retention and solid fluffy lacing. Aroma of Christmas wreaths. Taste is piney, floral and bitter. A beautiful thing.

An amber, a style I’m usually not fond of, but this stuff is nice. Huge hop nose. Big toast and nutty malts ending with huge hop presence. This is what an amber should be. Awesome.

500ml bottle-pours dark copper with a big light tan head. Aroma is rich/sweet lemon zest/floral, some light/medium malt. Taste is lemon zest/floral hops with some bite, some light/medium malt-roasty/cocoa. Drying.

I’m guessing this is the right version, only because there are no ratings for the other version. Bottle at Churchkey labeled as Maine Beer and Lawson’s Finest. Maroon brown color, beige head, solid lacing. Aroma of coffee, pine, dark milk chocolate. Taste is roasty coffee grounds. Well done!
