0,33l bottle at home from a local spar supermarket. BB 07/25. golden clear color, small white head. smells washcloth, bit light struck, grassy, bit buttery, ok smell. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes soapy, toffee, grassy, earthy, peppery, tobacco, bit light struck, bit metallic. finishes lightly bitter with notes of grassy, peppery, bit buttery and earthy notes. rather bitter for a märzen, but I guess thats better as if it was on the sweet side of things. overall a bit bland.

Bottle picked up from Eurospar, Shärding, Austria yesterday and consumed sat on the balcony at home Sunday 2nd March 2025 in glorious sunshine after a 14-15,km loop hike to two local hills Plattnstoa 864m & Fürberg 880m then to our local Gasthof zum Sonnewald, Schöfweg for a beer. We have a Thomasina Miers Chilli tonight for tea. Pours light gold, slight haze large white head. Light bitterness a touch of hoppiness on the nose, initially not impressed but it gets better. Fine.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a tiny, rough, white head. Surprisingly neutral aroma, only a faint whiff of floral hops. Medium body, lightly sweet malts, a metallic touch and rather subdued hops. Their Märzen was way better. 150923

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a amall, white head. Malty nose, a little hoppy spice and a touch of sulphur. Medium body, clean and somewhat sweet malts yet with sufficient hops for balance. A clean, well made and very drinkable beer. 150923

0.33 bottle. Behind the beautiful bottle and label is a golden brown, unfiltered beer with a medium white head. Absolutely German malt aroma, with a little sweet and spicy. Good and fresh acidity and acceptable body. Good taste, delicate, fruity aftertaste of malted marzen. They hit every part, and the hopping was also particularly well done, spicy, special. Delicious!

Medium, white head, disappearing over lively carbonated veiled ochre-yellow liquid. Lightly coloured malts and lemonade. Some surprise. Citrus, as in lemonade; sweet sugars, as in lemonade. Very high carbonation, almost refreshing if it weren't for the sugars, light body, quite slick. I do not understand this kind of concoction. Txs to Joren for bringing!
