De initiatiefnemers achter deze brouwerij zijn Daniëlle Duits uit Tienhoven en Marco Lauret uit Vleuten. Brouwerij Duits & Lauret is opgericht in 2009 en sinds 2015 gevestigd in Fort Everdingen in de buurt van Utrecht. Fort Everdingen is de imposante, stoere thuishaven van brouwerij Duits & Lauret. De brouwers serveren hier hun bier aan bezoekers en bieden daarnaast een kleine menukaart aan. In hetzelfde jaar werd de naam van de brouwerij gewijzigd van Speciaalbierbrouwerij Duits & Lauret in Fortbrouwerij Duits & Lauret.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear medium to dark orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, moderate to heavy yeasty, fruity, bubble gum, light apple, phenol notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light light alcoholic. Tap @ In de Wildeman. Black colour, tan head. Aroma is roasted malts and coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, bit of dark fruits. Fairly bitter finish.

cloudy yellow, smooth white head. faint malty, dry aroma. faint spicy. flavor is bitter, flowery, faint spicy. nice, quite dry.

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry malty and light cornish. Sweet, fruity and phenolic flavoured. Mild bitter and lingering fruity into a medium sweet finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours golden with a slight haze and an off-white head. Sweet fruity nose, a little floral and honeyish. Medium body, fruit and yeast and a dry and almost astringent finish. 150211

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning, as D&L Houtgerijpte Rook Dubbelbock, 7.5% ABV. Dark brown colour, dense off white head. Aroma of smoked malts, some tobacco, light wood, vanilla, light fruity. Flavour is light sweet, caramel, light salty, smoked malts, smoked light bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Bottled @ de Wildeman. Slight hazy golden color, big white head. Aroma is of soft flowery hops, bit citrus, bit spicy, like a hopped belgian blonde beer. Moderate bitter taste, bit spicy, slight dryish. Again, a more than decent beer.

Tap @ Utrechts bokbier ’10. Dark color, medium brownish head. Aroma of smoke and bacon, roasted malt. Smoke is a bit like the german smoked beers. Slight bitter taste, smokey wood edge. The smoke gets lighter in time, like my tastebuds get used to it. Easy drinkable. Again a very decent beer by this new brewery.

(Draught at In de Wildeman, Amsterdam, 30 July 2010) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with apricots, citrus, canned fruit and spicy hops. Fruity, slightly malty taste with notes of peaches, citrus and a generous spicy bitterness with hints of grass. Slightly above medium body, sweetish. Quite nice.
