Thin off whitehead stayed on a translucent light lemon coloured body. Zesty aroma with Tropical fruits. Medium bodied, soft on the palate, low carbonation and tingly crisp back. Bitter/sweet citrus, hops, grapefruit, hints of malt & bitter finish

Cask (gravity) @ MBCF17 [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2017 ] Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M2 3GX. [ As Hardknott Neutron Jester ].Clear medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, fruity malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, pale malt, fruity. Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - dark brown to black with a thin head. Nose - figs and dates. Molasses and dark chocolate. Taste - more dates, more luscious chocolate and molasses. Palate - rich and full bodied. Creamy and tangy. Long dry tangy and sweet finish. Overall - lovely.

Bottle from the Brewery online shop, shared with Ashton McCobb and Stuu666. Aromas of dates, roast figs, molasses, whisky, some wood notes. Taste is boozy, chocolate, whisky, dark fruits. Slightly hot.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - dark brown to black with a lovely thin fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate and coconut. Booze, mayve even brandy but can't tell for sure. Molasses. Taste - luscious chocolate and molasses. Toffee, honeycomb and honey even. Palate - rich and full bodied. Creamy and boozy on the finish. Overall - lovely.
