Pours mostly clear gold. Smells mainly of spicy, slightly citrusy hops. The flavor is moderately bitter with earthy, spicy, citrusy hops. The claimed 194 ibus is a bit odd as it doesn’t strike me as a total hop bomb or even more bitter than is typical for the style, but it must have enough malt to offset that considerably.

I don't usually worry about batches, but the 2025 version dropped from 14.5% to 10% abv. That's got to make it a very different beer than last year's release.

The vanilla is not very noticeable. It's sweet and malty with a full body, though not especially full for an imperial stout. It's very good though not super intense.
