Pours hazy orange with no head. Smells very fruity, of course. It's tropical. The flavor has a pleasant tartness and mix of tropical fruits. Easy drinking. Good.

Enjoyed side by side with Dark Necessity Vanilla Rye. Pours black with a tiny dark tan head. It smells of bourbon, roast malt, chocolate, coffee, and booze. The intense flavor is of roast malt, bourbon, coffee, chocolate, and rye with booze under there. It's sweet but the hops and dark roast character offsets that. It seems like the rye is more noticeable without the vanilla and the finish maybe not as sweet. Both are really good but I think I slightly prefer it without the vanilla.

Pours black with a minimal tan head. It smells of bourbon, roast malt, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and booze. The very intense flavor is of roast malt, bourbon, coffee, vanilla, and chocolate with booze buried in there. It's sweet from the obviously huge malt bill, but hops and roast character helps keep that from being too much. Delicious.

Pours hazy and green, a surprisingly dark green. It smells very much of key lime. The flavor is moderately tart and full of limes. There's a creaminess to it that distinguishes it from their regular key lime sour. This is very good.

Pours lightly hazy copper with a small white head. Smells of tropical fruit and resinous hops. The flavor is at most moderately bitter with a big malt body. Sweet with fruit, pine, and earthy character.

Pours clear deep gold with a lingering white head. This brew has a toasty caramel malt aroma. It has a somewhat odd flavor. There's the expected toasted caramel malt, but also a certain kind of funky, horse blanket presence. It's not thin and sour like it was inadvertently infected though. Something's a bit odd though. It's not bad, but it should be cleaner.

Pours lightly hazy gold with a small white head. It has a sour, lemony, funky aroma. The flavor is very tart, oaky, and vinous. On first sip the flavor seemed kind of sharp and like the various elements weren’t blending well but as it warmed that smoothed out. This is really good, and I appreciate how they went for it, embracing the tartness and the blend of one and three year aged brews. The bartender tells me they have a small coolship. Between that and the long aging process on wood and blending, I think this is about as close to a lambic as we’ll get without brewing it in Belgium. Excellent.

Pours a clear copper color with a lingering off white head. Aroma is of tropical fruit and pine. The flavor is aggressively hoppy with piney, resinous hops taking the lead and some citrus. Caramel malt. Long hoppy finish. Very good.

They’re calling this a Czech pilsner on the menu. I guess I’ll take their word for it, but this beer is not as hoppy as I would expect for that style. It pours clear light gold with a small white head. Aroma is grainy malt and lemon. The flavor is sweet, grainy, somewhat bready malt. There’s a little hops bitterness. The slightly sour and mildly bitter finish isn’t very pleasant. Wouldn’t surprise me if this is similar to what the original beer tasted like, but why recreate it when there are so many more flavorful options?
