Description
Mlinarica is known for its homely atmosphere. Tables and benches made of solid wood fill the interior of the space, and in the glass part of the pub there is a large fireplace. Every day we offer many homemade dishes, snacks, grilled dishes and homemade desserts, on weekends different baking.

In 2016, next to the brewery, we open a craft brewery and join the Zagreb beer revolution, offering guests top craft beers of different flavors and aromas.

Tap at PBF. Assertively wild, lots of barnyard, complex too, with also some acetic character. Not much pear, actually I do not get it at all. Good but not great, rather simple even if well done.

Tap at PBF. Lots of funk, pretty clean feeling barnyard though, not much wood, but I do not get tge fruit either. Rather basic, but easy drinking, good.

Tap at Prague Beer Fest 2025. Debut! Murky pinkish ochre, similar head. Smooth light plum, sour touches, mild mild funk. Dry, sour taste, low fruity notes, creamy, still quite youngish, kinda works anyway. Good stuff!

Bottle, 0.33l. Black pour, no head. Interesting on the nose, wood notes, liquor pralines, berries, raisins, slightly sourish.

Medium body, low carbonation. Smooth and surprisingly lightweight mouthfeel and texture, easily drinkable, slightly sticky. Balanced sweet and sour taste with bitterness lingering in the background. Aroma of dried fruits and berries, raisins, plum. Sour and tart. Malty backbone, toasted caramel, molasses, coffee. Bready notes, oak, liquor. Some red wine vibes in there as well. Quite interesting. Long lasting finish, dry, slightly boozy, lingering roasty bitterness.

Quite interesting.

Bottle gifted by Marko, shared with Cuso. Assertive oxidation in this one, which probably would not even be such a big deal as it is if there was some other assertive character present. There is not though. Med-light caramelly maltiness and also med-light overall smoke level, which is further split between oak and cherry. Truly not reminiscent of good old beech. Overall still kinda drinkable, but in a macro way. Meh.
