Fluffy, bit dirty-white, collapsing head over hazy orange beer. Sharp nose, fruity, grains, citrus and orangezeste. Dry-spiced, very yeasty. Citrus, dried fruits (without the Sugar). Slightly bitterish finish. Spritzy, quite slick, medium bodied. Better-bodied tripel, yeasty. Not bad, not exceptional. Txs to Tim!

Bottle at the Essen OBER Kerstbierfestival 2013. Poured a clear dark amber with a round bubbly head. The aroma is big caramel malt. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a yeasty dry liqourice bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Clear brown colour. Malty, spicy aroma. Agressive carbonation. Strong caramel malt flavour. Very malty taste with some chocolate or cocoa tones. Shame about the rough feel of this one.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2013. Limited to 1000 bottles. Reddish dark brown with a small off-white head. Smells of anis, bitter herbs coupled with sugary & thick caramel malts. Tastes of liquorish, bitter herbs with some sweet metallic notes, thick caramel malts, sweet metals, touch coffee. Lower carb. thicker malts body. Okay but nothing that sets it apart other than maybe the slightly unwelcome metallic notes.

Has the taste of real raspberries, but still a little bit too sweet. Bit flat too.

Very pale blond colour. Light citrus in the aroma. Very weak flavour. A bit grassy, some yeast. Rather bland.
