Description

Towering, very dense & fine, light yellow head, leaving lace over fully hazy orange-yellow beer (looks for all the world like a Hefeweizen). Very nice, outspoken flowery nose, with obvious elderflower - and do I detect Nelson Sauvin? Certainly fine hops, slightly citrussy/lemonblossom. Fruity and again noble hoppy flavours, lightly bitterish, citrussy and also spicy (like mustardpowder or galanga) - no doubt the elderflower. Quite spritzy, refreshing, wheatslickness, light to medium bodied. Excellent for the first real commercial try.

Pretty cloudy yellow to light orange beer. White small head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, pineapple, passion fruits, peaches. MF: good carbon, medium body, bit watery texture. Taste: citric, bit of exotic fruits. Aftertaste: some yeast, more citrus in front of the upper palate.

More UFO’s than beer (colour of orange juice) under the medium high, dense white head, gone after a minute or so. Sourish grainy nose, milky and milkripe grain. Dry, with a sourish finish of every sip. Faintly spicy and distinctly bready. Finish has something of the preserved ginger, served with sushi. Refreshing, spritzy, light. Huge points for originality, and certainly not bad at that (am I Antwerpener, or not?). If only the looks - and I’m not a particulary harsh judge in that particular field... Many thanks to Stef C.!
