Gold and bright. Thick head. Pine, papaya. Nice bitterness, slight toasty malt. The lactose does show up late, but the milkshake bit is well sublimated to the pale ale bit.

Deep rubyish clear copper body and modest foam. Heavy plum and wood aroma, slightly boozy, not overbearing though. Taste is a malty plum, soft wood grain, finishing smooth and dry with only a bit of alcohol. It still feels a little clumsy, but is trending in the right direction.

Dark coppery brown body and minimal foam. Good coffee on the nose, fresh and grassy, slight biscuit. Taste is bitter roast, green coffee beans, caffeine and vague biscuit. Finishes smooth but a little wet. Some good elements here but it isn't totally gelling together.

Muddy brown body and okay creamy foam. Soft fresh peach on the nose and vague malt, though not too bright. Taste is weak peach juice and vague maltiness, ending way too wet. A bit of a mess going on here.

Okay copper body, mostly clear, and some modest foam. Smells of soft caramelly plum, and nothing else. Taste is a chewy maltiness, finishing dry with vague biscuit hints and too watery. A pretty tepid rendition of whatever this is.

Passion fruit and a light dose of chlorine. Hazy golden pour with ok head. Tangy finish. Some citrus. Tap at Hatching Post.

Yellow, slight haze, medium head. Nice lacing. Medium fruity hop on the nose. Soft body, light esters, apple, grapefruit. Balanced with a gentle bitterness.

Bright amber, thin head. Light fruity hop nose. Medium body. Malt toastiness, fairly low bitterness. Balanced but I wish it was a bit brighter.

Pale brassy sort of colour. Medium head. Aroma has biscuity pale malts and just a touch of weedy hop. Med bitterness, more biscuity, slightly chewy malt. Decent west coast type.

Pale, slight haze. Thin head. Not a lot of aroma. On the palate not super”brut”, as there’s a decent malt sweetness and a generic sort of tree fruit hop character.
