One of the best looking beers I have ever seen. +++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark amber color with a large soapy orange-beige head that lingered forever and left the thickest and deepest lacing I have ever seen. The aroma was sweet pineapple and grapefruit. The flavor was sweet and tangy grapefruit, pineapple, lemon and orange with undertones of caramel, biscuit and pepper. The finish was long, tangy, sweetish, fruity and a touch spicy. Medium body. Solid.

Only the second peanut flavored beer that I have had. DIfferent but in a good way. +++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a medium caramel color with a small creamy tan head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was dry with a strong peanut shell presence and faint wood underneath. The flavor was dry, woody and roasty with a touch of smoke. There was a moderate peanut element throughout an a long woody and nutty finish. The beer grew increasingly bitter as it warmed. Medium body. Interesting.

Pretty tasty considering what it is. +++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a pale yellow-golden color with a large foamy white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was faint grassy and perfumey hops with a tangy undertone. The flavor was tangy with a light perfumey, grassy and floral hop presence. The finish was long, tangy, bready and citric. Tasted to me like the old 1970’s lagers I grew up on.
