Received in trade from phisigben, thanks for the opportunity. Pours just shy of clear with a golden amber color and a creamy white head that never gets too large or distant. Nice grapefruit and apricot aroma mixed with a hint of pine and hints of bready malt somewhere in the mix. Taste is a nice mix of bready biscuity malt with plenty of earthy pine and citrus hop flavor to keep me interested. Medium to light body with a fairly dry finish, moderate level of carbonation and a resinous creamy watery mouthfeel. Nice pale ale with huge amounts of hop aroma. I wouldn’t mind a touch more body here, but I could also see myself cutting the lawn with one of these too.

Received in trade from phisigben, thanks for the opportunity! Pours a crystal clear solid copper brown color with a good sized creamy white head that slowly dissipates, but leaves some spotty lace in its wake. Now this beer is still quite cold, freshly poured after coming out of the "regular" refrigerator, but most of what I’m getting from the aroma is an almost tart fruitiness. As this warms it opens up a little and I get more malt with sweet caramel and toffee, bread, and hints of dark fruit. Taste is mild toffee and caramel up front followed by some tart and dark fruits for the dry finish. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick sugary mouthfeel. This one is a bit weird. There’s a tart almost metallic thing going on the aroma. The body is a bit to thin for the style and the flavor should have more rich caramel/burnt sugar maltiness in it, but it doesn’t. This one kind of falls short of expectations.

Can. Molasses, raisin malt aroma with a hint of herbal hops. Medium brown color with moderate but short lasting head. Lightly smoky toffee malt flavor with a moderately bitter herbal hops finish. Tasty.

@GABF-on tap-pours a foamy tan head with copper color. Aroma is sweet medium malt, earthy. Taste is sweet medium malt, earthy hops. Medium body, easy.

On tap. Pours with a clear bronze hued body and a tan head. Aromas are of rich bourbon, boozy, vanilla, oak, caramelization and a bit of dark fruits. Flavors are a bit of cereal malt quality, grainy, vanilla, spicy oak and a lot of bourbon. Creamy mouthfeel, medium to full body, medium carbonation. Tasty!

Sampled from the tap at 2011 FOBAB. Poured a near clear deep amber with a light brown yellowish head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma had a good amount of bourbon backed by sweet grains and toffee. Flavor had more toffee that had a nice amount of bourbon and a hint of underlying sweet grains.

Sampled from the tap at 2011 FOBAB. Poured a clear gold with a near white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was a bit weak with some bourbon note with a bit of backing light grains. Flavor had notes of sweet grains and caramel with backing bourbon. A bit underwhelming.

Sampled from the tap at 2011 FOBAB. Poured a near clear deep amber brown with a yellowish brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of coffee beans and was backed by sweet grains and a bit of bourbon. Flavor had a lot of coffee with some bourbon, and a bit of dark grain backing. Coffee was slightly overwhelming for me.

Sampled from the tap at 2011 FOBAB. Poured a deep amber brown with a grayish brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of dark grains with a bread note and a hint of bourbon backing. Flavor had more bourbon with a backing sweet dark grains and a hint of toffee.
