Very hazy golden and raw honey coloured body with a thick, three to four centimetre tall tan head that's got some large bubbles and fades on schedule. Aroma of grass, light hay, a touch of earth, light tangerine and citrus fruits notes with a light hit of alcohol noticeable at the end. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich tangerine, orange and mango flavours with a deep papaya and melon note that add to the richness and pungency, with a solid hop bitterness showing strong alpha acids with a subdued but noticeable sweetness at the end. Aftertaste shows a very balanced and robust beer with a great hop bite, but pungent and well-structured malt bill, with the requisite citrus and fruity notes with noticeable sugars and alcohol - all very nice. Overall, a very enjoyable, balanced and robust Imperial-ish IPA that has all the characteristics that you'd expect with a complexity throughout, yet fairly easy-drinking considering the moderate alcohol. Great to sample locally and definite that I'll be attempting to find more from this brewery in the future, as this is my first from them, and it's great! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Ye Old Spirit Shop in Frederick, Maryland on 29-November-2020 for US$7,19 while cutting down our family Christmas tree for the year, sampled at my house here in Washington on 03-February-2021.
