Crowler from BrewDog Inverurie. It pours jet black with a small brown head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, unctuous, deep chocolate character, cocoa, vanilla fudge, toasted hazelnut, praline, fererro rocher and cookie dough. The taste is slick, oily, decadent, unctuous, bitter - sweet, dark roasted malt, earthy, coffee grounds, warming booze, cacao nibs, dark chocolate, chocolate bourbons, cookie dough, hint of acidity, pleasing nutty character, hazelnut, praline, pecan pie vibes and just a touch of tannin with a drying toasty nut finish. Full body, average body and slick mouth feel. Well done. Hazelnut is a nice addition. Not overly sweet. Manchester are definitely doing better than Ellon at the moment with stouts.

Tap at BrewDog Seven Dials. Extra hazy yellow pale, small white head, not lasting. Extra rioe tropical fruity nose, pineapple galore, slight citruses. Moderate bitterness, some mild sweetness. Lasting aftertaste, slightly herbal Quite some alcohol warmth, not burning. Medium light body. Lovely.

Keg at Dogtap for the AGM. It pours cloudy deep golden - blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, candied citrus peel, boiled sweets, fruit salad, mango, peach, passion fruit, fruit smoothie and candy. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, clean, zesty, passion fruit, mango, papaya, peach, booze , bright, juicy, sherbet, some minerality, greenness and brioche with a drying, green finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Super easy drinking.
