A deep dark brown ipa with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light chocolate, light coffee, light grassy hops, pleasant. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with dark fruits, light mineral notes, light grassy hops, pleasant. On tap at Brewdog Waterloo Station location.

Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is fragrant, bitter - sweet, milky, warming spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger root, chai latte, ripe gourd and deep roast. The taste is drying and dark roast upfront, fragrant, chewy, spicy, milky chai, kinda minty, warming boost, nutmeg, cinnamon stick, angelica, coffee grounds, pumpkin pie and warming boost with a punchy, fragrant boost finish. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Like someone hitting you in the face with scorching hote pumpkin latte while you are chugging a Jagermeister straight out of the bottle. Intense.

Hazed orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is bitter orange, ripe tropicana, grass, grapefruit.
Taste comprises pine needle, melon, dank spike, pineapple, grass.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with juicy come lightly danko hop bitterness.
Tidy DIPA.

Crowler from Dogtap Ellon. It pours darkest brown with a sturdy light brown head. The aroma is rich roasted malts, bitter - sweet, coffee, dark chocolate, charred vibes, warming smoke, raisin, sultana, toasted fruit cake, rich chocolate, toffee and mars bar. The taste of pretty smooth upfront, dark roasted malt, dark chocolate covered coffee beans, some umami, liquorice, toffee, pleasing but not overdone smokiness, charred accents, pipe tobacco, toasted fruit cake, malt loaf, rum & raisin ice cream and some pleasing alcohol warmth. Finish is fairly bitter, dry and roasted. Pretty flavourful and robust. Nice one.

Nose is bitter sweet chocolate, molasses, caramel, brown sugar melt.
Taste comprises molasses, chocolate shavings, mellow roast, light spice.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol.
Okay sipper if a little restrained.
