This was the surprise of the day, a nice brown tart brew, yummy. On tap at Patrick's pub but it was labeled as He'brew Rewind, WTF? A darker maroon-ish brown ale and clear. Pleasant nose, really smells a little like coca cola, attractive! Taste is at first tart, then a little of the alky seeps thru. Yes, becomes just a little medicinal in the middle. However, overall its quite enjoyable, it grows on yah. For a 6% brew, this was nicely enjoyable, hides the alky well for what it is. Pretty refreshing overall beer tasting experience.

Bottle bought in St Pete, FL. Pours a cloudy gold color with a khaki head and very good retention. Very good lacing too. Light hop nose. Soft pine hops taste up front with a light citrus hop finish. Not overly bitter. Decent for an APA.

Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a slightly hazy amber color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma bitter and tart with cactus, orange and an herbal note. The flavor was bitter with pine, cactus and orange. Long finish. Medium body.

12 ounce bottle. Dark gold color. Small white head. Interesting nose. Hints of rye grain, mustard seed, caraway seed and celery. Light body. Yeah, it has the nuances of mustard, black pepper rye bread and horseradish. I love a good Pastrami sandwich (Harold's in Edison, NJ). This is a great homage to that delicious treat. I need a pickle!

Pretty good stuff all the way around. Both aromas and flavors are dominated by the malts and roasted barley. Some food honey and cocoa in there too. A bit of booze and metallics in the Finish. Good body. Mine was served a bit too cold but still quite good.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 11/10/2017. Pours slightly hazy golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, citrus/peels, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, citrus/peels, and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop/fruit astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a nice fruited American pale ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops, citrus/peels, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Citra/Amarillo hops and orange peel/lime flavors. Not as vibrant as I hoped for on the hops/citrus; but it is well balanced between hops, fruit, malts. Some dank/earthy notes from the hops. A nicely enjoyable offering, and good style example.
