Draft: Orange and lemon zest bouquet, with an abundance of pine needle. Hazy copper, thick yellow head, nice lacing. Full body. Complex flavor of cherries, oak, strawberries, fig, and raisins. Pine sap finish. A bit resinous mouthfeel. Fair balance. It was particularly enjoyable with oysters rockafeller. Very drinkable.

Bomber pours out mahogany with lasting tan head and some lacing to boot. The aroma is toasty, roasty, caramel, toffee, some oak, a snoot full of hot bourbon and molasses. What a wonderful aroma with the varied roasty notes mixing seamlessly with the solid barrel odors. The taste is much the same with toasted toffee, roasty caramel, creamy caramel and molasses. Near the finish assertive bourbon and oak notes mix in and take this into the after taste. Very well done with a pleasing balance of beer and barrel notes being achieved.

Bottle from Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville. Pours a clear brown-amber with an inch of head. Aroma of pumpkin spice, caramel, cinnamon, ginger, and crust. Flavor of gingerbread, pumpkin, nutmeg and cinnamon, and pie crust. A bit on the sweet side - a tad too sweet for me.
