Can courtesy of Marko, cheers Marko, and consumed in the company of Ursula and Marko Saturday 19th July 2025 at the Mangled Ham tasting. Pours dirty yellow/gold with a small white head. The cocoa on the nose is quite nice, I was very hopeful to see how this would turn out, however flavour wise it's weird, very unusual, it's quite unbalanced. I think this combination could work in a different IPA, perhaps a session IPA just cannot carry the cocoa and it needs a more robust IPA and the cocoa in moderation but noticeable.

Can from Base Camp, Mangled Fly tasting. Murky muddy orange-ochre body, quickly disappearing off-white head. Some soft cocoa on oniony hoppy notes, vague orange. Lean, dry taste, too dried out (why did they use corn malt as well), astringent, cocoa, vague orange, bit yeasty. Not great, not enjoyable. Huuuh.

Med-full body, lots of cereal oaty character. Medium carbo, poor head retention somehow. Med-high bitterness, med-light juicy sweetness, slightly zesty. Med-high tropical, pineapple, oranges, grapes. Overall tasty, quite the fruit punch.

Med-thin body, med-high carbo. Med bitterness, light sweetness. Malt in background, hops centered. Pretty simple hops character, but works. Medium tropical, that is about it. Easy drinking, clean feeling, good.

Tap at Pivni zastavka. Poor head retention, lots of haze. Weird pinkish greyish orange colour. Overall rather weird rather than interesting, or even tasty. Not a fan of this combo honestly. Med cocoa, med hops, rather general fruitiness though, stone fruits, a bit overripe. Average.

Med-thin body, med-light carbonation. Feels a bit empty and flat. A bit of oxidation here too. Med-light caramelly maltiness and hoppiness feels a bit stale. Medium general fruitiness, also medium pineapple, exotic, citrusy. Overall drinkable, goodish, but feels a bit staleish.

Can via Pivni lednice. Medium body, does not feel weak at all. Med-light carbo, could have more bubbles. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Medium classic grassy herbal hops, light toasted bready honeyish malt, a touch of diacetyl too. Very easy drinking, clean feeling, excellent 8° lager.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren. Unclear orange/golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, white grapes and some pear in the nose. White grapes, light pear, touch of wood and alcohol with mild candy notes in the finish.

Tap at Dva kohouti. Med-thin bready, med-high carbo. Barely med bitterness, light sweetness, also weird light sourness. Moderate bready maltiness, a bit biscuity. Med-light vaguely fruity hops character, pretty weak considering Mosaic and Talus are used. Overall drinkable but boring, weak hops and weird sourness. Weirdish averageish-goodish piece.

Can from... emm... Galerie PIva let's say. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Mainly passionfruit in the aroma, but backed by a sweetish, bit woody touch, tart, minerally. Lean, dry taste, sour, bit soft, vague passion fruit, light toothrot funk, fruity sourness, minerally, drinkable. Really hard to pin as barrel aged. Meh, just meh taste-wise, but the body's fine.
