Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is cloudy light brown/dark yellow, some sediment, no discernible sparkle, ring of off-white head. Aroma is caramel malt, bread, mild astringency. Taste is dominant caramel malt, nondescript fruity astringency, brown sugar, overripe fruit(?). Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, soft texture, finish as taste. Overall, tasty enough but a bit too malt-dominant for the style.

$3.00 pint can from Beer Run. Pours slightly hazy orange with a large orangey head. Aroma is orange peel, pine, other citrus. Not juicy in the aroma. Flavor is orange peel, light grapefruit, pine, light caramel, lemon zest, black tea. Not juicy in the flavor either. Decent, nothing extraordinary.
