Slightly hazed amber with a short, light tan head. Caramel, grassy aroma. Taste is slightly hoppy....earthy, bitter, toffee. A bit tea-like. Not bad.

Can shared by me at Blipp’s surprise tasting. Pours black oil with tan head. Nose and taste of deep roast chocolate, roast coffee, milk chocolate and salted chocolate. Touch of espresso in the finish. Medium body. Nice stout.

Can - amber ale? - why isn’t this listed as an american strong ale? - anyway, pours a moderately hazy dark red - frothy, well-sustained head - nose is mostly a potent mix of hops - resinous, citric, piney, fruity, peppery - some sticky malt sweetness underneath - more pleasant than I am making it sound - soft carbonation, full body - simple flavor - mostly just sticky caramel maltiness, followed by potent peppery and woody hops with a light bit of alcohol in the finish - it does what it sets out to do, I guess - okay.

Can from LetsPour.com. Pours light amber with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is sort of lightly hoppy. Disappointing. Med body. Flavor is mildly hoppy with a very light touch of spice. The accountant must have put a limit on ingredients. The flavors are too mild, but I can imagine this could be great, if a reasonable amount of hops and malt had been used. Sad. Nice artwork on the can tho.

Can from LetsPour.com. Pours very dark brown with a tan smear. Aroma of treacle, dark malt and chocolate, and? Med body. Flavor is chocolate, coffee, dark malt and ? I have no idea what BTs taste like. There’s some unknown to me flavor in this. If you told me it was marine oyster, I’d believe you. Decent stout.
