Draught at craftbeer corner coeln. Hazy orange with a full frothy head. Aroma of banana wheat. Flavour is banana, malt, a little pepper, wheat grain finish. Good solid hefe.

Sampled from tap at ’Craftbeer Corner Coeln’. Clear, orangeish amber with a white head. Sweetish, fruity, herbal-resiny and slightly grassy aroma of orange jam, mango, lemongrass and some pine. Rather sweet, malty, herbal-resiny and slightly fruity-grassy taste of pine, orange jam, lemongrass and some mango, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather resiny and moderately herbal-grassy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

From gravity cask at ’Craftbeer Corner Coeln’. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of honey, grains and straw. Sweetish, just slightly bitter, moderately grassy and a bit floral taste of honey, straw and some grains, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not sure how this is related to the regular Veedels Ale, barely any hops detectable, quite a classic approach and therefore rather contrary to its little brother. Overall okay though!
