Very pale straw body, modest foam, good carbonation. Musty earthy apple on the nose, sharp burlap, plenty of barn funk. Flavour is vinuous apple, sharp vinegar notes, vague vine hints. Good sweetness on the finish. Not too sugary, closer to white wine, which makes sense as it's made by a winery.

Can from the winery / cidery. Nice rosé body but fast gone foam, small bubble carbonation. The aroma is odd, a bit like burning plastic with some residual sweetness, or maybe rosewater mixed with a soft apple. Flavour is deep apple mixed with red wine, very good blend of red and apple here. Full mouthfeel, crispness is tempered by the wine notes. Quite an enjoyable balance.

355ml can from the source, marketed as Original Blend No. 14. Pours a very translucent pink with almost no foam, earthy apple on the nose with some slight sweetness. Flavour is a soft sweet apple, green and slightly round, soft tannins in the back. Good crispness. A little subtle but okay.

Can from the winery come cidery. Has a very musty pear aroma, like the wrong side of burlap, earthy without a sweet payoff. Nice clear body, strong carbonation, no real foam. Flavour is very soft pear character, little sweetness, rather dry. Slight lingering floral pear and vinegar notes. Not bad but nothing really stands out.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor, can
Very light pink colour, clear. The aroma is lightly vinous. The flavoour is like sweetish fruit soda.
Not authentic, not much character, but easily drinkable.

Pale pink, bubbly. OK. Sort of a stinky sulphur. Super sweet, sticky apple juice. The wine doesn't show that much...or does it? Industrial, not very good.

341mL can, pours a clear pink with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart red apples and a touch of pinot noir. Flavour is very sweet, with red apples, a little cinnamon, and some tartness. Tart and very sweet. Not bad.

330mL bottle at Dockside, pours a crystal clear near-water colour with a small white head. Aroma brings out medium sweet red apple, light champagne effervescence. Flavour is along the same lines, with high sweetness, red apple skins and champagne effervescence. Carbonation is on the higher side, but fitting to tone down some of the cloying sweetness. Cloyingly sweet cider. Not the best, but not bad.
