Wax bottle @ Miami Fandango ’10 gathering. bottle 108/250 pours dark amber, off-white head. sweet honey nose with light malt. flavors, found it to have a high carbonation, sweet honey mouthfeel, floral with some bitter hops and oak barrel presence. Overall impression of a caramel malt palate directly followed by the honey adding a blossom thick syrupy finish.

Pours black and beige head that don’t leave no lacing. Then the aroma you got some milk chocolate action and also some roastiness, but not to the same extent as other stouts. First the feel, which is typically one of the best parts of a stout and this one does not fail to deliver, it goes down well and is offensive to no one. Sweet taste along with heavy amounts of malts and chocolate notes. Not at all bitter. Overall, a very enjoyable beer, which I could easily drink all day (especially on this day with such horrid weather).

Bottle from a trade with tgncc. Pours hazy pale straw color with white head. Grainy aroma with some floral hops. Mild cereal flavor with moderate bitterness and a watery flavor. Thin body with lively carbonation. Tastes like a macro light beer to me. Thanks Tom.

Draught at Ginger Man, NYC
Black color. Dusty roasted malt aroma and dark chocolate. Dry mouthfeel; medium-weak body, milky roasted malt flavor. Too much roasted malt, it even becomes a bit astringent because of it. Nothing special.

Bottle. Deep brown body with frothy tan head, slowly diminishing. Roasty aroma with notes of chocolate, coffee, resin and smoke. The flavor was moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finished lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, creamy texture ad lively carbonation. Solid, easy drinking sweet stout with a nice balance between sweet and bitter. Comfortable mouthfeel.
