This is a ''black'' beer, so I couldn''t rate the colour of the beer itself, but the head is really nasty. Just like beer that dried on the edge of a glass. This smells really like hop. Doubtful aroma. But yeah, stouts are not my favourites at all.

Definitely needed a rerate for this-one. Sparkling yellow body. White rocky head, excellent lace, fully lasting. Yeasty aroma. Lightly bitter flavour.

I liked it somewhat. a decent pils for all the crap it takes. I thought the hops hit you right away. could use more i suppose, havent had tons of pilseners. the hops are very dry. I did not like the aftertaste, it was stale.

Strange beer. This was the first ever Belgian ale I tried, and one of the beers that got me interested in beer in the first place. Samplin it again several thousands beers later I goit awfully disappointed. Bronze colour. Some grape aroma. Sweet and one dimensional. Plain boring.

Bottled:
Pours a golden colour with a lacing head. Aroma is sweet malt, glue and grass. Grainy flavour with some citrus notes. Dry finish.

Among commercial pilseners from giant breweries, this is one of the best. Very drinkable.

Only Interbrew could screw up a Belgian ale to this degree. Bland, forgettable, paltry, insignificant. Good-bye.
