Bottle at Pat’s birthday chriso tasting, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a medium, white head. Dry grain and straw aroma. Medium sweet flavor, something oddly ’fishy’ in this. Lightly bitter. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dryish finish, light toasted hay. OK.

Bottle at Chriso Patriks Bday tasting. Hazy pale gold. Thin white head. Ok lager. Quite thick in mouth. Its fine considering its not cold. Decent proper lager.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, dark dried fruit, light alcohol. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate malt, dark dried fruit. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, grass, UK hops, wood, light citrus. Initial flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter, malty, caramel, finish flavor is moderate sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration, woody, dry, almost harsh bitter, resin. Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed 21.10.11 I picked this up at Beers of Europe September 2011 Tiny bit too sweet for me, there is some lasting sweet cappuccino and cocoa swishing about in the mouth. Dark fruit and more chocolate coming through, its easy drinking and pleasant. Another decent beer from Nigel! A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
