Keg pint at the Indian Brewery outlet in Birmingham on 25th January 2024, with Mat. Clean golden body, white stuff on top. Not a lot going on really, all a bit bland and uninteresting. We tried four of their beers while there and neither of us thought much to the beers, shame really.

Keg half-pint at the Indian Brewery outlet in Birmingham on 25th January 2024, with mat. Very pale blonde, white topping. Bland, boring and watery, just didn't do anything!

Clear gold/amber with a small bubbly white head and a sweet toffee malt and hoppy aroma. Sweet and malty up front with some leafy hops and hints of hedgerow fruits cutting in before a dry, bittersweet finish

Cask at the Red Lion, Amblecote. Pours gold with a medium head. Aroma is sherbet and toast. Taste has sherbet and acrid toast.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Dark gold and clear with a small frothy white head. Aroma of boiled sweet, persimmon, white pepper. Taste sweet with some rounded citrus notes, more pepper. A slightly bitter finish. Not perfect but certainly different from your average IPA. And certainly worth a try.

Half-pint on tap at Indian Brewery taproom, Shared with Finn. Creamy off-white head blanketing the glass, ruby-black body. Moderately roasted dark malty aromas. Flavoured with creamy, dark chocolate malts. Roasted mid-sweet malty ending. A bit thin on the swallow. Satisfying. (Birmingham, 14.02.2023).

Half-pint on tap at Indian Brewery Taproom, Shared with Finn. Covering pearl white head, clear amber body, spotty lacing. Moderate grass-fruity aromas. Flavoured with ripe citrus and grassy hops. Smooth and dry, mid-sweet fruity ending. Okay partner to the spiced fish and chips. (Birmingham, 14.02.2023).

Pint at Indian - Snowhill. Near black pour, thin, silky off-white head. Aroma is light roasty malts, chocolate. Taste is mellow roast malt's, mild sweetness. Very light bitterness at the finish.
