50cl can. Pours clear dark reddish brown colour with a mid-sized to small beige head. Aroma of sweet grainy malt, cereals. Taste of sweet grainy malt, some caramel, cereals, nothing special.

50cl bottle. Pours clear orange brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma of mild sweet roasted malt, caramel and sugar. Taste of sweet malt, sugar, caramel, nothing special.

50cl bottle. Pours clear pale golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of grassy hops, hay, mild grainy malt. Taste of mild grainy malt, grassy bitter hops, hay.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Prima Beer. 6.8% ABV. Golden colour, white head. Malty and dusty aroma. Malty and dusty flavour too, a bit unfresh, moderate hops. Not great.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Prima Beer. ABV is 4.9%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate but nice aroma of herbal and grassy German hops. Fairly crisp and dry flavour, a typical German pils (no more, no less), reasonably bitter finish.

Shared bottle at RB/HB on board Fridtjofen 26.01.16. Clear golden. White head. Aroma of raw mash and unfermented wort. Similar taste, with plentiful of sweet malt. Reminiscent of non-alcoholic beer. Did someone forget to add the yeast?

Flaske ombord på Fridtjofen, rbhd jan-16: klar gylden med kort skum. En lett og lys bock, men skjemmet av ubehagelige undertoner av rå malt og sødme som i vørterøl.
