32oz growler pours a hazy gold with a ring of white head. Nose has passion fruit, raw melon, grassy, lightly dank. Flavor is lemon, passion fruit, grassy, mild grist. Dry finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle courtesy of Hackobock. Pours hazy deep yellow with a very small goldenish white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny fruity and funky with crackers, lemon juice, yoghurt, clotted cream, hay, minerals, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sour, fruity and funky. Mouthfeel is soft, dry, slightly tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly sour with crackers, lemon juice, fleshy cherries and tropical fruit funk. Beautiful and balanced with subtle yet noticeable sweet cherry character. Love it!

Bottle courtesy of Hackobock. 2015 vintage. Pours murky deep yellow with a small frothy offwhite head that leaves some sticky lacing on the glass. Smell is fruity, lactic and slightly funky with crackers, filmjölk, lemon juice, green plums, hay, dry soil, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is sour, slightly fruity and funky. Mouthfeel is soft, dry, tart, tiny mouth-puckering and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, lactic acid and plum jam. Rather offensive lactic acid filmjölk nose but the taste is nice and overall it’s a solid sour and fruited saison.

From a 22 oz bottle at the DC tasting on March 25, 2016. Poured a hazy yellow-orange color with a white head. Aroma was light sweet malts, citrus. Blast of citrus, olives? Light and grainy notes.
