Draught at the brewery: Pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma is chocolate, hints of rum, roasted malts, slight hops, and a hint of sugar. This is very similar to the normal Gmork. The rum added on is not very significant, but it adds a nice unobtrusive element that I like. I kind of had to rush through this, so I didn’t enjoy this as much as I would have otherwise. That said, I think I prefer the straightforward simplicity of the normal Gmork.

At the brewpub: Pours golden, hazy with a a white head. Aroma is light fruitiness, spice, nice bit of citrus. Taste is lightly tart. Some flowers. A good bit of yeast. I think this was the best of the three saisons that I had at the brewpub on this day.
