Bottle courtesy of MrChopin, a huge thanks! Hazy bright golden color, fluffy white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of dusty barnyard haystacks. Taste is funky, lightly fruity, dusty white pepper. Delicious.

Bottle @ Darkness Day eve, thanks to arminjewell for sharing. Pours a milky yellow orange appearance with a white head. Aroma has funk, lemon, white wine, brett, and some tropical fruits. Somewhat tart. Juicy, tropical fruity flavor with some pineapple and white grapes. Real chill beer. Thanks for sharing, Armin!

At the brewery: Pours light gold with a white head. Aroma is citrus hops and plenty of them. This is not really a pale lager in any real sense because this is an extremely flavorful beer. If this stays in the pale lager category, I assure you that it will be the top rated one on RB in no time at all. Dank is a good way to put it. I would agree heartily. Good, good, good.

At the brewery: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and plenty of it. Pineapple, mango, and some citrus are all there in good measure. Taste is fruity and hoppy at the front, but then gets to a really nice chewy malt finish. This was a really pleasant beer to drink. Most dank.

At the brewpub: Pours dark blackish brown with a tan head. Aroma is earthy chocolate, light hops. Taste is simple, but really nice. Hoppiness is heavier than one would expect in an English iteration of the style. The sweetness is also very muted. Nice and earthy taste. Bittersweet chocolate is certainly present. Low carbonation body is really pleasant. If I was a British coal miner from the 19th century, I would be really jealous.

At the breweery: Pours black with a tan head. This isn’t the most oily and viscous stout, but it is certainly pretty dark. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, some vanilla perhaps, nice hops. The real good thing about this beer is the really smooth body. It has a great texture. The taste of course is nothing to sneeze at either. Its flavor profile is unpretentious. This doesn’t seek to go over the top or add weird flavors. Instead, it is a standard Imperial Stout, but one that is executed remarkably well. Quite good.

Bottle @ Stephen’s house. Thanks Dave! Pours a murky orange appearance with no head. Aroma has some butter with dark grape, apple, and plum. Twangy, slightly tart plum flavor with slick mouth feel. I got a shit load of butter but others at the tasting didn’t really get much butter. Hmmm.
