Keg at Three Cellars Oak Creek, 2/8/19. Near black, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, lactose, caramel. Taste is roast, caramel, lactose, smoke, and a mild fruitiness. Medium bodied, slick and oily, mild lingering bitterness.

The Aromas are hops, soap and a little bit of malt. Flavors are like nose, hops taste a little oxidized, a little sweet up front with light-to-medium bitter in the Finish. I wouldn't get this again.

On tap at Republic, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dank hops, sweet honeyed malt, and light bready notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with plenty of piney hops, light dankness, and honeyed malt. Balanced and clean - a really nicely constructed IPA.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2018. Pours a clear amber with a slight orange hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a lot of brandy, caramel and toffee supported by sweet grains. Flavor starts with sweet grains and is joined by toffee, caramel and warming brandy.

Draught at the brewery. Malt flavor, some caramel, but mostly dry with grain. Sweeter as it warms. Good marzen.
