Bottle. Black. Pours a huge head. Malt, roast, ash and a hint of caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet milky caramelly, soft roasty flavor. Thinnish. Not bad.

330mL can at BunkerBunker, pours a hazy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out caramel malt, resinous hops, and some candied notes. Flavour is very malty, with lots of sweet caramel malt, followed by chewy resinous hops. Overmalted but it's brewed well.

On tap at Brewerkz - Riverside Point, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a rather chalky character, with oats, and earthy dry cocoa. Flavour is quite similar, with dry cocoa powder, earthy chalky notes, and light oats. Decently constructed, but lacking some body. It's alright.

On tap at Brewerkz - Riverside Point, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma reveals earthy hops, with a hint of pine, and dry bready malt. Flavour brings out some truly sad, faded, earthy hops, and a bready malt base. The hops are dull, the malt is dominant, and this is just all round a sad IPA.

On tap at Brewerkz - Riverside Point, pours a hazy dark purplish red with a small off-pink head. Aroma reveals faded blackberries and lacto - smells rather washed out. Flavour is a little more dialed in, with sour blackberries and plenty of lacto. There is quite a bit of acidity from the berries. Not much depth here, but it's pleasant.

On tap at Brewerkz - Riverside Point, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bitter piney hops, with some metallic notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly citrusy, with crisp piney hops, stone fruits, and biscuity malt. This doesn't seem to represent a tropical pale in any way, more like a west coast pale. It's alright.

On tap at Brewerkz - Riverside Point, pours a cloudy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is very juicy, with lots of citrusy, pithy hops, some tropical fruits, and biscuity malt. Flavour is bright and juicy, with very vibrant juicy, piney hops, tropical fruits, and biscuity malt. Juicy and with wonderful clarity and punch for a 5% IPA. This is excellent.

On tap at Brewerkz - Riverside Point, pours a hazy golden amber with a small beige head. Aroma is quite malty for a pale, with resinous hops and lots of chewy caramel malt. Flavour is similar, with lots of chewy caramel malts, resinous hops, and bready malt. Hard to believe this is a pale. Pretty solid for what it is.
