On tap at the Battersea Beer Festival (Feb ’12). It harldy looks fit for drinking! Murky/cloudy yellow/brown like a cross between dirty canal water and a banana smoothie! Frothy tan head and a decent one at that. Good aroma’s come off this beer, all the usual suspects for the style, banana, clove, maybe something sweet in there too, vanilla/cream/caramel? Top notch in the tasting department, toffee, caramel, banana, clove, a little yeast and a bit more ’nana for good measure. Mouthfeel also top notch, rich, creamy, massages the throat as it goes down, fairly low carbonation. Overall I really enjoyed this beer.

Cloudy golden colour, big foamy head. Mild banana clove aroma & flavour. Smooth & creamy with sweet aftertaste.

Really excellent weizenbock. Lots of cloves and banana with some caramel. Taste is a balanced sweet with smooth mouthfeel.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a larger than normal white head for a Hefe. Aroma is creamy bananas, butter and dust. Taste is rough and abrupt. Palate is mellower than the taste.

Purchased this at a Orterer Getrenmarkt in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, Germany 30.05.12 consumed at friends Lyn & Barrys when invited to watch Ukraine v England match 19.06.12 Pours murky orange/gold with creamy white head. Soft & creamy in mouth really, really full on banana is really prevalent, lovely beer. Carbonation is middling, good very tasty beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle @ Flensburg. Pours murky golden with a creamy white head and lacings. Sweet banana, caramel, bread and wheat. Smooth. Banana - chewing gum burbs. Not my fav. style but ok drinkable.

Beer No. 71 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Bottled 500ml. -from the bottle near my hostel in Berlin. Pleasant wheaty fruity nose. Light yeasty, very fruity and mild spicy with some acidity in the finish. Very nice and refreshing weizen.

bottle from Murnau. Cloudy pale golden colour, large white head. Not over-carbonated, quite smooth. Light-bodied and refreshing.
