On tap at Captain cook Östersund. Actually a very impressive beer for the style. Gorgeous mahogany colour. Decent flavour and nice finish. (16/1/19) --- On tap at Artut, Östersund. 3.5 to 3.3. --- Beer merged from original tick of Östersunds Nya Ångbryggeri Mellanmörk Lager on 29 Nov 2024 at 18:52 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma is nice and nutty (chestnuts?). Dark caramel colour. Flavour is a bit boozy with a kind of czech darker lager flavour. Some sweetness in the aftertaste.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear mahogany colour, rich creamy head. Caramelly nose with toffee and coffee. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Toffee, coffee and mild notes of butter. Low bitterness. Harmonious.

On tap at Captain Cook Östersund. Dunno if i got the facts right on this but it was on tap and delicious. A realy really well made berliner weisse that was sour but not too sour so you could drink well over a pint of it and feel fine. Nice peachy flavours.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Maybe I'm being favourable but this is a pretty decent middle of the road pilsner. Nothing to complain about, goes down rather smoothly to be honest. Pleasantly suprirsed and pleased with this. (28/7/18) ------- Bottle on site. Concur wirh above. (8/4/19) ------- Tap at Bishops Arms Östersund. 2.9 to 2.7. Light milky pilsner malt. Light carbonation in appearance but feels quite fizzy in taste. Bready yeasty taste. (7/9/19) ---- Bottle from Systembaolget. Decent. 2. 7 to 2.8 (16/7/20). ---- Keg at Bua, Östsrsund. Christmas nose - can't put a finger ion it. A lot of yeast mind you. And some metal. Keep 2.8. (28/12/23). --- Can from Systembolaget. I disagree with Mr Stimpy here; not the best lager/pils in Jämtland! Rödö för the win! Didn't even taste very good this time...5.6 to 5.3.
