500 ml bottle. Cloudy yellow/golden body with a decent white head. Not strong but nice and refreshing aroma of pale malt, grass, citric fruit and a bit spicy. Flavor is much the same as aroma, nothing strong but a fine and balanced refreshing lager with more fruit and bitterness that expected. Depending a bit what to expect (it’s actually NOT an American pale ale?) I find this beer a lot more refreshing and tasty than expected. A big positive surprise for me.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle. A lighlty unclear one, amber in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma is very bananaish, with caramel, some yeast and cloves. The flavor is on the caramel side, quite a lot of banana, and a with a faint, hoppy and spiced touch. It’s pretty dry on the palate, softly carbonated, and medium to full-bodied. Banana and caramel in the end. Well, it’s drinkable, but far, far from interesting. 140111

Bottle. A dense, two-finger white head forms over an unclear, golden-orange body. Fruity, grainy aroma with a little citrusy touch. Some pale malts. A little bitterness in the mouth, it’s medium bodied and soft on the palate, with flavors of pale malts, citrus peel notes and some clementine peel. Some bitterness in the finish. Bottle. A yellowish golden beer, lightly hazy, topped by a small, dense white head. The aroma is quite grainy, with fruityness and some grass and hay. The flavor is equally grainy and fruity, more hayish than grassy. Dry, medium bodied and quite carbonated. Some bitterness and citrus peel in the finish. A truly forgettable beer, but at least it’s not off. But damn boring it is. 131228
