In August of 2005, the first jack hammer went into the ground in the empty warehouse in Pleasantville, New York, that was to become the living dream of our founder Scott Vaccaro. We brewed our first batch of beer in December of 2005. In December of 2011 we moved to Elmsford, finished construction of our new brewery, brewed our first batch of beer, and slowly shut down our old location. In 2014 we decided that it was time, after 9 years of making sour and wild ales, to take it to the next level by opening our new sour ale production wing, lovingly dubbed the “Fermento Funk Facility”.

(Can, 0.473 l - BB 30.12.2021, from Alko, 20210512) The beer poured brownish orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had passion fruit, pineapple and peach. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were passion, herbalness, pineapple, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had pineapple, herbalness and bitterness. An interesting brew with strong fruity and subtle herbal notes.

Can 473ml (Alko web, BB 20.01.22) Hazy orange colour, medium-sized white head. Pineapple dominates the nose light citrus and paper. Medium-bodied. After aroma, flavour is a bit suprising: zesty citrus and grapefruit dominate, quite bitter with fruityness underlying. Ok.

An orange, murky beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma is nice, mango, mandarin, grapefruit. Taste has grapefruit, mango, some sweet mandarin, medium bitterness. Medium bodied. Balanced and good beer.

Can 35,5 cl. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Pumpkin pie spicy nose. Medium body, an initial slight caramellish sweetness, subtle spices and then a massive bitterness. Quite fizzy. 090421

Pale straw blond colour with thin wispy head. Aroma and flavour have a fruity bitter mix with sweeter elements of pineapple and some nice grapefruit peel bitterness.

Rocky white head stayed on a hazy pale gold body. Pine, citrus & big hoppy aroma. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated with a clean back. Mango, citrus, pine & confectionery tastes with a hopped up fresh clean finish. Very nice
