Sample courtesy Grumbo. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are coffee, chocolate, caramel, roast malt and has a nice roasty finish.

sample from Graham. Frothy white good mostly diminishing head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Strong spice-notes. Moderate bitter very spicy flavor. Nutmeg most presnet. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Sample thanks to Grumbo down there. Thanks mate. Pours dark, aroma brings Worcestershire sauce, soy, caramel.. Thin bodied, soft grain with a bitter roast running throughout. Interesting Isle of Wight stout overall.

31/1/2022. Crowler from the brewery courtesy of Tim. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, light spiced edge. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness, developing more to finish. Medium body, average carbonation, just a little on the watery side. Best yet from B&S.

31/1/2022. Crowler from the brewery courtesy of Tim. Pours hazy pale brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of Christmas spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, allspice, dried fruits, spruce. Medium sweetness, slightly metallic spiced bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Festive fun.

3/11/2020. Take out can from Boojum&Snark, Sandown (courtesy of SHIG). Brings up my Isle of Wight half century. Pours murky tawny brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is malty, nutty, touch of caramel, nutty chocolate and butterscotch. Nice bittersweet taste and finish. Moderate body, soft carbonation.

Draft: Poured a murky brown orange with a bubble tan head. Aroma is nutty malty, light hops, more malts. Taste is bitter forward that leaves way to strong sweet malts, a bit nutty, finish has some more bitter dryness.

10/10/2020. Draught at the Boojum&Snark Craft Beer Festival, Sandown. Pours cloudy pale mustard yellow with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is light, hoppy, tropical, citrus, touch of white grape and rubbery pine. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Average to soft carbonation. Nicely drinkable.
