6/8/2022. Bottle from Boojum & Snark, Sandown, courtesy of IOWTim. Pours close to black with a small beige head. Aroma is chocolate, light roasted malt, mild cherry, hint of spice and liquorice. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, some developing cherry tartness. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. Nicely done.

Keg at the brewpub. Aroma has light apricot with a spicy edge. Opaque apricot orange. Fluffy foamy white head. Fruity if subtle apricot that not overly sour. Salt and spice edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long finish. Easy drinking without the heavy sourness you'd expect from a modern take on a Gose. Refreshing.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 07/07/22. Hazed amber pour with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is fruit cake, herb, winter cheer, spice, toffee. Taste comprises spruce, big herb, clove, caramel, toffee, dried fruit rinds, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. It's fine for what it is but nothing I'd rush back for.
