Il Microbirrificio Opperbacco nasce nel 2009
grazie alla volontà e alla caparbietà del Mastro Birraio Luigi Recchiuti.

Il birrificio è a Notaresco. Incastonato come una gemma tra i colli Teramani, abbracciato dal Gran Sasso da un lato e dal Mare Adriatico dall’altro con, uliveti, vigne e frutteti a fare da cornice.
L’intero processo produttivo si svolge all’interno di una vecchia stalla riadattata e attrezzata per laproduzione di Birra.

RBESG 2010, bottle at Brasserie 4:20
Cloudy blond color. Nice aroma, hop, honey, straws, fruits. Dry mouthfeel, highly carbonated; sweetish cereals and malt flavor, lightly spicy; correct bitterness. Just a bit too much yeast. Refreshing.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty. Spiced and phenolic. Dry yeasty and slight spiced. Mild floral hoppy too. Dry finish.

An unclear dark golden beer with a beige head and some hops floating around. The aroma is very grassy, hoppy, and grapefruity. The flavor is sweet and totally dominated by hops lending it grassy and grapefruity notes, leading to a very bitter finish.

Draft. An unclear light yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of lemon and coriander as well as lighter notes of wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and wheat as well as strong notes of coriander, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is light.

Bottle at ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting. Hazy pale gold, some yeast character. Thin off white head. Doesn’t taste the strength. US styule IIPA.. Good hops.

Bottle 75 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours an opaque dark brown with a rough yet dense beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dried fruit and Belgian yeast. Quite full-bodied, overripe fruit and caramel. Rather boozy finish. Solid but unbalanced. 070610

Bottle at RBESG 2010 ROME ... hazy amber ...bits of hop in bottle ... sweet lime ...and pine nose ... quite soapy ... loads of bitter inf ront ... loads of lime peel ... quite bitter.

Bottle at KØ10. Mild vegetable hop aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. OK stable white head. Mild citric flavour, good spiciness, clove and especially coriander. OK sweetness.
