Purchased this one in a convenient store of St-Hyacinthe, QC, not knowing anything about it. Brought it back home and could not find it anywhere on this site. I therefor put it aside. Now, today, I found it after lots of research. The labels say nothing and now I found out this brewery is out of business. So, pours a warm golden colour with a white cap that tops the brew and gives a bit of creamy lace. Grainy cereal aromas and the same for the taste, except much milder. Some smooth grass comes in the finish, but not enough to save this beer. Still, better than average swill as it is more on the malt side, rather than corn or rice. RIP Cardinal.

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur dorée-jaune et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle sucrés, léger de maïs sucré et de légumes bouillis sucrés avec des notes de houblon herbeux. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-bas et une texture légèrement aqueuse et aux notes huileuses. Goût de légumes bouillis sucrés lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût de grains de malt pâle sucrés avec un léger goût de sucre blanc ainsi que des notes de maïs sucré et des traces de biscuits puis en finale l’on retrouve des petites notes de houblon herbeux (gazon mouillé). Post-goût court composée de notes de herbeuses.
