Bottle bought in Brugge last Christmas. A dark brown almost black coloured pour with a decent beige head on top. Dark fruit, Belgian Christmas spice aroma. Tastes sweet, dark fruit, Belgian spice, malty, hint of banana. A great complex Belgian Chrstmas beer which I’ve had many times from bottle and on draught in the Beertje.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with orange, apricots, canned fruit and hints of almonds. Fruity, malty taste with notes of orange, apricots, ripe fruit and a spicy, slightly toasty finish with a mild bitterness. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Slightly chemical, but decent enough.

Bottle at John Bull. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, coffee, fruit. Flavour is sweet, roasted malt, hop, caramel, sugar, coffee. Nice beer.

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a slightly hazy pale orange color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish spicy yeasty herbal aroma. Sweetish fruity malty spicy yeasty flavor with some hints of citrus. Has a sweetish malty spicy yeasty finish.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of coriander, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, lemon, coriander, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.
