From tap at DHVL Gardenparty and Beerfestival. Pours dark yellow with a small white head. Aroma is Dry and slight bitter with a light metalillic note. Bitter and dry malty flavoured too, light liqourice note. Bitter and dry malty finish.

Bottle at home .... OH my when i opened and poured this it ,fizzed just like a coke.... Deep black ... no head just like a coke ... woody roast malt nose ... over fizzy just like a coke ... but the flavour not at all coke like ... its much more like VIMTO ... with just a bit of roast chocolate malt added. bottle at de garre ... deep brown ... thin tan head ... sweet toffee cherry roast nose ... light fizz ... chewy toffee malts ... light bitter ... light chocolate... less now its cold ... but stic3.0

Clear, blond body. Creamy to rocky head. Aroma of hops, citrus and some light malts. Lightly bitter, moderately sweet flavour. Not bad, but not great either, it has a nice bitter touch.

Ruby, brown to black body with an off-white (tad brown), creamy head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, malts, liquor and also a bit sourish. Moderately bitter, lightly sour flavour. Very nice and interesting.

Clear blond body. Slightly off-white, rocky head. Great looks. Aroma of fresh (german) hops, citrus, bit caramel malts, grapefruit. Quite subtle aroma but nice. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour with a sharp bitterness.

The color is almost black; very big head. Very light caramel aroma. Good body, chocolate flavor, missing bitterness (just a bit from some roasted malt); unfortunately the metallic finish is disturbing. An Abbey beer, on the simple side.

The bottle was leaking in the suitcase; I’m surprised to see how lively it is still; it pours a hazy deep blond color with a huge and persistent head, too much carbonation. Aroma of old hop, paper, dusty, sewage. Good body strength, strong bitter toffee flavor; the toffee, as it happens sometimes, turns into some light sweet liquorice in the end. Warming alcohol. A Belgian Strong Ale more bitter than usual. Not bad.

Clear, deep gold with a low, frothy head and high carbonation. Biscuity pilsner malt aroma with honey and fruit—maybe pears. Flavor of honey, citrus, alcohol heat, with decent hop bitterness at the finish. Ok, but too sweet and thick for a tripel.

bottle @ Toone, Brussels. pours black, beige head. Aroma, reminded me of Rodenbach because of the fruit elements and the prickly aromas, has some malt caramel notes with some cherries. Taste, medium carbonation, roasted malts with some light dark fruits, light in body, definitely a different approach to a stout. Light fruits, some cherries, currants with some very faint hints of tartness some yeast elements as well. Smooth and very easy to drink, doesn’t like a 9% beer.
