Found this gem at a shop in Asheville, NC. Black lager caught my eye and it was black. Smells of coffee and dark toast. Taste similar to a German Schwarzbier. Very well balanced and not sweet all. Taste of slight coffee, chocolate and pleasant dark malt taste. Palate was over so slightly too bitter. Overall good beer.

Auch wenn mir die 3 Namen des Biers (2 tschechische und 1 englischer Name) etwas komisch vorkommen, hat mir das Bier wirklich ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Es ist nicht zu süß oder bitter. Dabei ist es schön rauchig-malzig und erfreut mit einem vollen, karamellig-malzigen Körper, den in dieser Ausgewogenehit und Harmonie nicht viele schwarze BIer auch in Tschechien haben. Es wird offenbar gerne an Touristen verkauft und hier kann auf jeden Fall ine Empfehlung aussprechen - so geht richtiges tschechisches Schwarzes

Bottled. Hazy brownish amber colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is smoke, some nutty tones, chocolate and mild toasted tones with some banana and mild spiciness. Flavour pretty much has the same elements as the aroma. Easy going.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is grains, grass, hay and some herbs. Flavour is herbal, grass and mild yeasty notes with some slight caramel. Easy going.

Bottled. Orangeish amber colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is bready malts, toffee, some herbal and mild nutty tones with herbs. Flavour is mild diacetyl, with some bready, caramel and mild biscuity tones.
