Draft at Bierhaus, Cork, Ireland. Pours dark brown with persistent whitish foam. Aroma is roasted, dark chocolate. Body is average with medium carbonation. Taste is medium bitter from roasting. Finish is average, with some final spiciness.

Bottle at 6.5% ABV. Foggy bronze colour. One finger tall head of beige colour and decent lacing. Aroma: caramel, esters, nuts, toast. Modest intensity. Medium body. Taste: light sweet. Evident caramel, estery, bitter enough. Nuts and hops in ending. Hoppy aftertaste. A quality brew.

A colablack beer, a head is almost medium sized and light beige. Aroma has roastiness, salt, some liquorice and breadyness. Taste has roastiness salt, liquorice, also some interesting anise liked herbs. Almost medium bodied. Salty sea is noticable, personal. Tasteful.

Bottle from McHughs. Brownish black with a minimal head. Aroma of milk chocolate. Flavour is thin milk chocolate, a little coconut, some chocolate malt on the finish but overall a bit too thin.
